Traveling is a fantastic way to explore the world around us. Since ancient times, people have traveled for knowledge and discovery. We learned to recognize the way by the stars, the breath of the wind, we built ships, planes and space rockets. Our show will draw you into the fun world of traveling, while playing games we will overcome all obstacles together and we will all make our little discovery in the end.

Four female dance students (14 - 21 years old) found themselves in the Czech Republic in spring of 2022, just like thousands of refugee children from the invaded territories of Ukraine. They started working with choreographer Yana Reutova to bring the joy of movement and imagination to hostels and community centers, as described by one of the visitors:

"As an adult, you probably won't eagerly raise your hand for one of the gracefully moving young girls to pick you up and lead you along the rope over an abyss where crocodiles might be lurking, or to challenge you to a game of 'clap' with the others." But the art, skill, warmth and playfulness of Yana and her dancers will enchant you, and in the end you will certainly at least be stomping to the rhythm...".

The performance is intended not only for children and their families from Ukraine, but for everyone. It is language barrier-free.

Yana Reutova worked as a dancer, choreographer and teacher in the Odesa region. In 2014 she founded Dance Theatre Plastilin in Chornomorsk and created several performances receiving some awards. She organized the “Dance Platform Most” festival and worked a lot with children (Creative Kids project) and her students. After that she started the “Speaking with the Body'' festival, which took place only once. 

In March 2022, she took her daughter and several students and fled from the war to Prague, where she now works. She danced in projects by Anna Källblad, Nicole Beutler, POCKETART and herself leads workshops for children and develops her own creative work with various artists. She made interactive performances “On the Road” and “Childhood Time” as part of the project for Ukrainian refugee children. Now she works on the triptych “Together Alone” with dancers from Ukraine, Czech Republic and Burkina Faso.
