For three weekends in June, we'll be touring the countries from which the festival artists originate along the Žižkov Highline embankment. Bring along the children and grandparents and your friends; everyone can select their preferred options from the weekend menu. Krenovka* isn't just about dancing; you'll encounter artists from the Trať 42 association and the delightful Unijazz Reading Room, enhancing the experience with culinary delights from the North, Africa and Ukraine.
Engaging in movement workshops, beadwork, painting, leather crafting or photography promises enjoyment for both children and adults alike. Nordic literature extends far beyond Hans Christian Andersen, as Scandinavianists Helena Březinová and Radka Stahr will enlighten us, with author readings by Kateřina Pokorná / Svojost. Martin Lacko extends an invitation to the Krenovka Bestiář studio, there will be an excursion to Iceland before Monday evening's When The Bleeding Stops or to Norway, home country of the authors of Rock Me Baby.

The art workshop for children (6-13 years old) focuses on the myths of Ariadne, Theseus, and the Minotaur. We will explore the central motif of this year's TANEC PRAHA festival visuals, inspired by Titian's painting "Bacchus and Ariadne," which depicts the arrival of the god of wine and merriment on a small island to a deserted Cretan princess. We'll discuss who left her on Naxos and the events that led to it, then illustrate the myths. Drawing supplies will be provided, but children are welcome to bring their own favourite brushes.
