Jan Waldhauser: EXCEEDED
The aim of this installation is to highlight the “flowerpot” problem and also wider issues of urban greenery. Trees along city streets are burdened by the same limitations as those grown in flowerpots. Against the backdrop of global climate change it is necessary to reformulate our relationship to trees so as to provide them with greater space! The Přesazen (Exceeded) work was created from 18,782 flowerpots left over from urban planting projects in Prague and its surroundings.
