The thought of what goes on behind closed doors never ceases to fascinate us. In a closed space and on board a ship, in the two parts of the Diptych: The missing door and The lost room, we go into a dark world on the border between reality and dreams, in which we are as lost as the eight protagonists. We are looking for an exciting way out in the scenes that are typical for the Belgian group Peeping Tom. A scene full of surprises, absurdity and exceptional dance and acrobatic performances, moving almost beyond the limits of human possibilities. Thanks to the impressive visual and sound effects, we feel like we are in a movie, only to find out that we are watching our own life. We will not forget this stormy voyage into the most hidden corners of the human soul for a long time.

The performance includes a short strobe, loud music and darkness.

Gabriela Carrizo (AR) started contemporary dance at the age of ten in Argentina, then created her first choreographies for the Córdoba University Ballet. At the age of nineteen, she moved to Europe, where she collaborated with, for example, Caroline Marcadé, Les Ballets C de la B, Koen Augustijnen or Needcompany, and at the same time created her own works. Since the founding of the Peeping Tom ensemble in 2000, she has been its artistic director together with Franck Chartier.

She played the lead role in Kid (2012). In 2013, she created The missing door for Nederlands Dans Theater – NDT 1, which later became part of the Triptych: The missing door, The lost room and The hidden floor (2020). In 2018, she collaborated with Franck Chartier on 31 Rue Vandenbranden, an adaptation of their ensemble's original work Peeping Tom, for Le Ballet de l'Opéra de Lyon, with which they opened the prestigious Biennale de la Danse de Lyon (2018). Last year she directed La Ruta for NDT 1.

Franck Chartier (FR) began dancing at the age of eleven and later studied classical ballet with Rosella Hightower in Cannes. In the years 1986 - 1989 he was part of Maurice Béjart's Ballet du 20ème Siècle. In 1994, he moved to Brussels, where, among other things, he collaborated with Needcompany and Les Ballets C de la B. Since the founding of the Peeping Tom troupe in 2000, he has been its artistic director together with Gabriela Carrizo.

In 2013, he recreated the production 33 rue Vandenbranden for Gothenburg Opera, based on the work 32 rue Vandenbranden by Peeping Tom which was a guest at TANEC PRAHA. In 2015, he directed The lost room for Nederlands Dans Theater - NDT 1, for which he won the prestigious Dutch award The Swan (2016). In 2017, he created another work for NDT 1 The hidden floor. Both later became part of the Triptych: The missing door, The lost room and The hidden floor (2020). In 2021, he directed Dido & Aeneas for the Grand Théâtre de Genève, and in 2022, Oiwa, a duet for the Ballet National de Marseille.
