Light Echo

Experience dance in unusual communication with space and light. It is not just a dance, but the perception of light and space as equal partners. In his experiments, the artist achieves a balance between these three components of the resulting work. He was inspired by Michal Horáček's light object Rozsošák.

Jiří Bartovanec is a dancer, educator and choreographer who, after graduating from the Duncan Centre Conservatory, was engaged in Berlin, where he was given a number of opportunities and became a member of the renowned Sasha Waltz & Guests ensemble. For more than 10 years, he has been devoting himself to auteur work and passing on experience to conservatory students and others. In his work, he is attracted by the dialogue of various types of art – dance, music and visual arts.
