LEGOrhythm offers ways to think about our society through the theme of sport. The performance is inspired by the Olympics, mass gymnastics events and aerobics, to show a special group of athletes who are trying to achieve their sporting goals through the movement vocabulary we all know. In a humorous way, the production seeks to move the viewer to question the nature of performance, form, rhythm, duty, order, convention, compliance, and subsequently freedom.
