Collective participation in IETM's online programme:

10:00–11:00 IETM Pitchorama
This brand new session will showcase a series of 6 projects pitched by IETM members in 3-minute videos before leaving room for questions and feedback from participants.

14:00–15:00 IETM info cell
An hour of valuable information on IETM: overview of the current and upcoming activities and projects, update on the recent and forthcoming policy and advocacy work, and introduction to the different working groups of IETM.

Tanec Praha’s IETM membership dates back to 1991, when we created one of the first independent NGOs in the Czech Republic. Participating in IETM meetings and events for almost 30 years, we have never faced a situation such as the one we are currently experiencing. Recent months have, however, also brought good things in our country: a new dialogue between the independent art scene and local authorities, as well as more respect towards the vitality and flexibility of independent artists.

We are now ready to compare how governments have reacted towards the local performing arts scene, and what actions are effective. We are also willing to look into the future; how it evolves and how we will continue to plan our activities. In Central Europe “What matters now?” is a hot topic too. Considering the significant differences between our neighbouring countries, we have something to compare, notably, all the challenges and threats brought by the crisis.

With this in mind, we invite the Arts & Theatre Institute, ITI and Nová síť/New Network as well as the independent performing arts sector from Visegrad countries and others to join our local meeting in Prague.

Register now here.
New deadline for registration: 28.09.2020.
Capacity: 50 participants
