TANEC PRAHA Festival 2009 | 23 May – 28 June 2009

The restart of the festival with the help of new manager Alena Brožová began successfully with an event in the Karlín Musical Theatre. Montalvo - Hervieu captured audiences with a Gershwin evening full of effects and surprises. The dance laboratories also grew by young talents from Brazil, from where arrived Flávia Tápias. The Swiss group Drift left no one in doubt that theatre, movement and humour belong together. The program in the Czech Republic also first expanded to 10 cities and towns, thanks in large part to Markéta Bárta and the support of PONEC management, while the festival productions in the regions were overseen by Veronika Hladká for the first time.
