TANEC PRAHA Festival 2007 | 1 – 28 June 2007

Prague again enthusiastically applauded Marie Chouinard, whose Rite of Spring accompanied by a live orchestra resounded in the Sazka Arena in unprecedented fashion, Chorale then had audiences in the newly reconstructed Karlín Musical Theatre rising from their seats. Right away three different evenings European Dance Laboratories satisfied the audience just like the return of Granhøj Dans. The Danes, just like the Swiss and other Czech and international artists performed not only in Prague, but also in six other cities in the Czech Republic. Interest in dance also grew in Prague; in the same year two new venues were opened: ALTA and La Fabrika.
