TANEC PRAHA Festival 2006 | 2 – 28 June 2006

Nacho Duato who so far had never been with his own ensemble in Prague, finally arrived with his Compañía Nacional de Danza. The new dramaturgical council of the European Dance Laboratories began addressing audiences and became a very sought after part of the program. It drew from the Aerowaves network in support of young European choreographers, later opened discovery of talents also from other continents with the subtitle Dance NEWs. In keeping with tradition the program was supplemented with mid-size ensembles, this time including the Delfos Contemporary Dance Company from Mexico. Marta Lajnerová took over the leadership of the festival from Yvona Kreuzmannová, who became an advisor to the Ministry of Culture.
