David Vávra: KOSTNICKÉ SQUARE 1914
The square has been renovated with a sense for the past, while leaving a generous space in the middle, which encourages activities. Its creator sought to bring the spirit of holiday cultural life into the harmonious scenery of the park, by using palm trees in movable pots (inspired by a period photograph from 1914) and a number of colourful chairs. This momentary poetic activity perfumes the park with human encounters.
