Daria Sayapina: ŽIŽKOV NEEDS FRESH AIR
The idea behind this installation stems from historical events, in particular the redevelopment of Žižkov. his event is reflected via ventilators designed to provide fresh air to Žižkov’s narrow streets. The rotating ventilators bring both air and life; they symbolise the public potential of Žižkov. The inactive fan is a symbol of decline, and a reminder that this Prague quarter is in need of revival.
