Alessandra Paoletti, Damiano Ottavio Bigi (IT)

From the Opera of Rome to Dimitris Papaioannou, after many years at the Tanztheater Wuppertal directed by Pina Bausch, Damiano Ottavio Bigi, dancer and choreographer, in 2013 met in Istanbul Alessandra Paoletti actress, director and author, active in the field of dance theatre. Here began their collaboration with the project Yuvaya Dönmek/Back Home, to my father for the Istanbul Municipal Theater. Their creations come out from an exploration that leans on dramaturgical and kinaesthetic compositional schemes and scientific disciplines. The personal and the emotional are pressed out from an analytic creative process that offers new perspectives on the body articulation in space and time.
