TANEC PRAHA Festival 2016 | 23 May – 23 June 2016

The opening of the event this time belonged to a co-production by Mirka Eliášová intended for children and last but not least the celebrated creative duo of Fruček and Kapetanea, this time with their own ensemble Rootlessroot. A special evening for the 20th year of activities Dame de Pic by Karine Ponties enriched the Czech artists who had the honour of working with her. The European scene was represented by the original work of Ann Van den Broek or the dynamic production of Anton Lachky, a Slovak artist working in Belgium. A laboratory under the name Dance NEWs also enriched the regional program together with Czech artists. The main event, however, was the historically first ever appearance at the festival of Spanish star Israel Galván.  ​
