Swind is not just a performative work, but an open space for self-discovery, created with consideration for how today’s teenagers live and what they experience. At this age, personality is still forming, and that is precisely why the project resonates so strongly with the audience: it shows that our identity is not a fixed state, but a fluid, constantly evolving process.

Geometric structures, movement, and the use of space help illustrate how our self-perception changes along with us. Every element of the Swind project emphasizes that change is not a threat, but a natural part of personal growth — to accept it means to grow, try new things, and expand one’s possibilities.

The project inspires teenagers to be more courageous and open to the world and to themselves, to seek their uniqueness, and to approach the process of growing up with greater flexibility and understanding.

In addition, Swind breaks down established stereotypes about contemporary art. It shows that art can be light, playful, accessible, and above all understandable. Thanks to the active participation of the audience, the work transforms into a living dialogue in which everyone becomes part of the experience.

Alina Tskhovryebova is a choreographer and dancer of Ukrainian origin, who is now based in Paris. She is interested in the exploration of movement, the body in space and the connection of bodies and different spaces. During her studies at Cndc, Alina participated in several projects as a dancer/performer. She has created works for young Ukrainian artists and during her studies in France created works which were performed, namely at CCN de Nantes in 2023 and Quai Angers in 2024. Together with Lucas Resendem she created the project Blue Lava, which popularises their work and research. They created their duo performance “Unfolding” about the communication of two bodies in space. She has worked with artists such as Lia Rodriguez, Ivana Müller, Noé Soulier, Salia Sana, Olga Dukhovna, Mathilde Monnier, Boris Charmatz, Gisèle Vienne and others.

Daria Koval is a Ukrainian choreographer and performer known for her politically engaged works, which alert to the reality of today’s Ukraine. As a performer she often engages in the themes of memory, trauma and resilience. She creates strong works, in which she combines traditional elements with contemporary dance. She has participated in noteworthy European festivals and developed the Safe Space movement method - and improvisational praxis emerging from somatic work and trauma therapy.

Yana Reutova worked as a dancer, choreographer, and teacher in the Odesa region. In 2014, she founded the Plastilin Dance Theatre and created several performances that received multiple awards. She organized the Dance Platform Most festival for five years and worked extensively with children (Creative Kids project) as well as with her students. She later launched the festival Speaking with the Body, which took place only once.

In March 2022, she took her daughter and several students and fled the war to Prague, where she now works. She has collaborated on projects with other choreographers and leads workshops for children while continuing to develop her own artistic work with fellow artists.

The concept of her triptych Together Alone succeeded in a European competition as part of the first EFFEA Open Call (https://www.effea.eu/) and became one of the 40 supported projects. Her works have been invited to festivals in Brazil, Italy, Poland, Spain, Cape Verde, and beyond.
