What holds us together in constantly changing a world?

The natural order of things — the rhythm of nature’s laws.

The living organism of GN|MC’s dancers (Guy Nader & Maria Campos) draws the audience into an endless cyclic flow, where recurring motifs become the pulsing rhythm of the entire piece. Natural Order of Things employs movement minimalism with hypnotic gradation, culminating in brilliant partnering filled with precise lifts and jumps. The choreography then calms and returns to its original, simple motif – like life itself, finding peace and harmony again after a period of chaos.
The work is defined by its physical plasticity and masterful use of space, which never loses strength even in the finest detail. The dancers support and interlace with one another, pushing the limits of physical possibility. They move like the tide, guided by one shared rhythm, one shared breath. Though swept up in collective dynamics, each dancer captures attention through distinctive individuality.
Minimalist patterns layer into a complex structure that continually reshapes before our eyes – flowing, breaking apart, and re-forming into an organic, fluid motion. It evokes a natural system at the cellular level, a fragile symbiosis of life in which every element responds to and influences the whole. Harmony and aesthetics stand here as a gentle protest against chaos – defending coherence through beauty and unity, much like nature itself.
Natural Order of Things reminds us that without losing our individuality, we remain part of nature – fragile yet resilient elements of one greater whole.

The GN|MC company, a Lebanese–Spanish duo based in Barcelona, combines extreme physicality, gravity work, and group dynamics into a distinctive movement language. Their creations are marked by precision, bodily connection, and captivating energy. GN|MC’s works are presented on leading international stages, and Natural Order of Things received three Spanish Max Awards 2025 – for Best Choreography, Best Female Performer (Maria Campos), and Best Male Performer (Alfonso Aguilar).

TANEC PRAHA first presented GN|MC’s Time Takes The Time Time Takes in 2016. Ten years later, the festival welcomes these acclaimed artists back to open its new edition in celebration.
