Peel the Onion is a fascinating exploration of emotions, sensations and hidden layers of human identity through movement. What masks do we wear in society? What do our bodies reveal when they speak without words? The performance invites the viewer to explore the deep emotions hidden beneath the surface of everyday gestures.
The performance is part of the international festival TANEC PRAHA 2025.
Workshop/artist talk
We invite you to a meeting with Brazilian performer and choreographer Clara da Costa, following her solo performance Peel the Onion. Clara's work combines a European experimental approach with her Brazilian roots and during the talk she will offer an insight into her creative process, discussing the themes of emotional and physical layers that she explores in her work, as well as presenting her movement research Corpo Único, which invites every body to awaken to intuitive and authentic movement.
