Václav Kuneš is a Czech choreographer, dancer and co-founder of 420PEOPLE, of which he has been the artistic director since 2007. He graduated from the Prague Dance Conservatory in 1993. After that he was a member of Nederlands Dans Theater for 11 years, where he worked with Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Paul Lightfoot, Mats Ek, Nacho Duato, Johan Inger and Hans van Manen, among others. He also worked as an assistant to J. Kylián. He has also appeared as a judge on StarDance. He is a very prominent artistic personality in the dance and cultural field in the Czech Republic and abroad.
Helena Arenbergerová graduated from two semesters of dance pedagogy at HAMU, then studied history at FFUK. She has worked as a teacher of contemporary dance in Prague dance studios, at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, at the Prague Ballet and has also led workshops in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 2008 she received the Sazka Award for her performance Holdin' Fast, for which she was also nominated for the Thalia Award. Her solo performance Duo Para Ella/ Comida para dos won 1st place at the international competition in Masdanza, Gran Canaria. In September 2023, she won the Thalia Award for Best Female Dance Performance for 42+PEOPLE: Where.
