CieLAROQUE / Helene Weinzierl (AT)

Austrian dancer and choreographer. In 1995 she founded her own group CieLAROQUE/helene weinzierl with which she performs all over the world. Her works move between dance and theater, they are often interactive and deal with socio-political themes. She received several awards, e.g. from the city of Salzburg (2010) or the Federal Ministry of Education and the Arts in Austria (2012), but also the Amnesty International Award for the Art in Edinburgh (2005). In 1990, she founded tanzimpulse Salzburg to organize dance events, and she is the artistic director of the PERFORMdANCE Festival Salzburg.
