TANEC PRAHA Festival 1995 | 17 June – 3 July 1995

The event of the year was the arrival of the DV8 Physical Theatre with the fortunately chosen performance of Enter Achilles. Lloyd Newson won the hearts of the audience at Archa and returned there again several times. The solo opening performance by the legendary Trish Brown at the State Opera was one of the most unforgettable experiences. Montažstroj from Croatia impressed with his rugged presence, on the stage as well as on the streets in the city centre. The popular Hervé Diasnas collaborated with Czech dancers, who were also featured in a series of performances on an open stage in Old Town Square. In that year, Tanec Praha also organized the first pilot year of the future Czech Dance Platform.
